If You Loved Just Go With It...

….Visit Hawaii

Just Go with It is a romantic comedy starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Danny, a successful plastic surgeon, convinces his assistant Katherine to pretend to be his soon to be ex wife after a lie he tells his much younger girlfriend starts to unravel. Their complicated plan leads them to Hawaii, where the fake family vacation quickly becomes a real adventure filled with beautiful beaches, luxury resorts, island activities and plenty of unexpected moments.

The movie was filmed primarily on Maui and Kauai, showcasing the lush landscapes and gorgeous beaches that make Hawaii such an appealing destination.

If You Loved the Movie, Go Here...

If Just Go with It made you want a Hawaiian escape, you're in luck. You can visit several of the places and types of experiences featured in the movie while enjoying the beaches, scenery, food and relaxed island lifestyle that Hawaii is known for.

Travel Inspiration

Grand Wailea, Maui: The luxurious Grand Wailea resort serves as the Hawaiian setting for much of the movie. Even if you don't stay there, you can make the Wailea area part of your Maui vacation.

Maui beaches: Spend a day relaxing along Maui's beautiful coastline, just like the characters do during their Hawaiian getaway.

Kauai: Explore the lush scenery and dramatic landscapes that appear throughout the movie and showcase Hawaii beyond the resort beaches.

Road to Hana: Take a scenic drive through rainforest, waterfalls and coastal scenery for a classic Maui adventure.

Na Pali Coast: Take a boat or helicopter excursion along Kauai's spectacular coastline, with towering cliffs and secluded beaches.

Snorkeling: Get out on the water and explore Hawaii's colorful tropical fish and sea turtles.

Whale watching: Visit during whale season and take a boat excursion to see humpback whales off the coast of Maui.

Hawaiian luau: Enjoy traditional Hawaiian food, music and dancing for an evening that celebrates the islands' culture.

Take a beach day: Sometimes the best vacation activity is simply finding a beautiful beach, settling into a chair and doing absolutely nothing.

Eat

Fresh poke, kalua pork, mahi mahi, coconut shrimp, macadamia nuts, tropical fruit, shave ice and malasadas.

Create Your Own Just Go with It Moment

Book an oceanfront resort, spend the morning on the beach, head out for an island adventure in the afternoon and finish the day with dinner overlooking the Pacific. And unlike Danny and Katherine, you don't need an elaborate story to enjoy your Hawaiian vacation.

“You don't need a fake family vacation to fall in love with Hawaii.”
