Happenings
Did you know that approximately 40% of marriage proposals happen during Engagement Season? Engagement Season is from Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day. We are getting ready to hit the final stretch to finish off the busy season.
I would guess about 80% of my bookings were honeymoons this past month. I love planning honeymoons of all shapes and sizes. Right now most of my honeymoons are all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Hawaii. Remember not all resorts are right for everyone. I always like to get to know the couple before recommending a location and resort.
Cancun, Mexico is great for short flight times, resorts of all types, and can fit a range of budgets. My most booked resorts to book in Cancun are Secrets Maroma and Valentin Imperial.
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic is also great for short flights, resorts of many types, and can fit a range of budgets. My most booked resorts to book in Punta Cana are Secrets Cap Cana and Excellence El Carmen.
Negril, Jamaica is one of my personal favorite destinations. If you have never been to 7 Mile Beach, you are missing out. Jamaica invented the term "island time." If you are looking for the laid back life of the Caribbean, Couples Swept Away and Sandals Negril are perfect for you.
And finally St Lucia and Hawaii are frequently booked for honeymoons. St Lucia is great for the Hawaii feel with a little bit shorter flight times (depending on where you are flying from). Sandals La Toc and Sandals Grande St Lucian are my favorites.

Do you follow us on Facebook? Have you shared our Facebook page with friends? This is the main social media page I use for my business. I share travel agent facts, travel tips, client trips, personal photos and videos, and new blog posts.
I also post about about my travels. This past week I was at Disney World and posted photos and videos in my stories. There are lots of blogs and videos to come. You don't want to miss out on my adventures as I am off on another cruise and headed to the Galapagos in a few short months!
Trip Requests
Here are some of the 2022 trip requests I worked on this past month:
Secrets Cap Cana Honeymoon - This resort will always by my most favorite Secrets resort. Cap Cana is a gated community in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The brown sugar sand beach is huge and beautiful. They are going to love their Preferred Club Bungalow Master Suite.
Hawaiian Honeymoon Upgraded - I love booking Hawaii for honeymoons, anniversaries, and for families. This client meet me for one of my free in person consultations to talk about her upcoming honeymoon. We discussed a number of ideas and they settled on Hawaii. They knew they wanted Maui and Oahu and rooms with great views and a balcony to enjoy their morning coffee. They settled on the Westin Maui and Outrigger Beach Resort (Club room). We are now discussing activities and excursions to fill their day.
Valentin Imperial Honeymoon - I booked more than a dozen honeymoons this past month and this one is special to me. Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya was the very first all-inclusive I have ever stayed at. I have been back a few times, and still love it. My clients will be stay in an Emerald Beachfront suite. They will be steps from the ocean in this newly renovated room. I hope they love it as much as I do.
Excellence El Carmen Honeymoon - I booked this resort for 3 different honeymoons just day's apart and all in the same room type. These honeymoon clients will be staying in an Excellence Club Beachfront Honeymoon Swim Up Suite. This room type is by far my most booked for good reason. It is steps from the ocean and has a swim up pool.
Multi Generational Disney Trip - My clients are headed to Disney with their children and a set of grandparents. Their three girls are at just the right age for some Disney magic. They will be staying at Disney's Pop Century with skyliner access to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. They also have a day planned to visit Universal and experience the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
My Groups
I love hosting group trips. Here is where I am heading in the coming year(s). Which one do you want to join me on?
April 2022 - Sold Out. Galápagos Islands. We begin in Quito, Ecuador then spend 5 days island hopping on land and by ship. The ship only holds 16 guests.
August 2022 - I have 1 staterooms left. Cruise and Land tour in Alaska. We will be sailing on Holland America and spending three days in Denali National Park. I have rooms available if you want to join us.
October 2022 - Iceland and hunting for the Northern Lights. October gives us the best opportunity to see the northern lights. I have 8 rooms being held for 60 days. These are first come, first serve and will sell out.
December 2022- Antarctica. This is my last continent. We will be taking an expedition cruise from South America and through the Drake Passage to the Antarctica peninsula with Ponant Cruise Line. Trip of a lifetime.
