Happenings
Did you know that approximately 40% of marriage proposals happen during Engagement Season? Engagement Season is from Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day. We are getting ready to hit the final stretch to finish off the busy season.
I would guess about 75% of my bookings were honeymoons this past month. I love planning honeymoons of all shapes and sizes. Right now most of my honeymoons are all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean/Mexico and island hopping in Hawaii. Remember not all resorts are right for everyone. I always like to get to know the couple before recommending a location or resort.
Cancun, Mexico is great for short flight times, resorts of all types, and can fit a range of budgets. My most booked resorts to book in Cancun are Secrets Maroma, Hyatt Zilara, and Valentin Imperial.
Negril, Jamaica is one of my personal favorite destinations. If you have never been to 7 Mile Beach, you are missing out. Jamaica invented the term "island time." If you are looking for the laid back life of the Caribbean, Couples Swept Away and Sandals Negril are perfect for you.
And finally St Lucia and Hawaii are frequently booked for honeymoons. St Lucia is great for the Hawaii feel with a little bit shorter flight times (depending on where you are flying from). Sandals La Toc and Sandals Grande St Lucian are my favorites.

January was one of the busiest months I have ever had for my travel business and I was closed the first 10 days of the month! This past month I made it on two of the top 150 lists for my host agency!
-Top 150 agent list based on bookings out of 7000+ agents.
-Top 150 companies list based on bookings and commissions. This is the first time I have ever made this list.
This last one blows my mind as I am the only agent in my company. Many of the other companies on the list have multiple agents working towards their bookings total. It is time to hire some help because this month is shaping up to be just as busy.
Huge shout out to my clients who continue to share my services with others and book their trips with me. You guys are keeping me busy!
Trip Requests
Here are some of the 2023 and 2024 trip requests I worked on this past month:
Honeymoons at Sandals Antigua and Grenada - I have been booking honeymoons at these resorts on repeat this past month. Both of these resorts are drop dead beautiful. They are perfect for all the water sports. These two resorts are probably the most romantic and relaxing resorts in the Sandals portfolio. They are going to love the relaxing vibe after the busy wedding planning.
Thanksgiving Cruise - My Celebrity cruisers are back at it again. They are letting the chef on the Celebrity Refection cook their Thanksgiving dinner this year. They will be stopping at the Bahamas, Mexico, and Grand Cayman. This family likes to book their next cruise while on board of their current cruise. This is a great way to take advantage of extra savings and on board credit!
30th Anniversary to Jamaica - My repeat clients always travel for their anniversary but this year it is different. This one is a huge milestone. So they are going to splurge and stay at Sandals South Coast in two different room categories. They will be staying the first few nights in a swim up rondoval butler suite before moving to an overwater bungalow! Did you know you could move rooms mid stay? It takes some creative booking, but I can do it for you.
Italy Adventures - Italy has been on many of my clients minds this past month. I have a number of honeymoons, anniversary, and vacations that I worked on this past month. I can bundle flights, hotels, private transfers, and rail all in one package making it a smooth and easy process.
New Zealand Wedding/Honeymoon - This one is epic! New clients reached out about planning their 3 week trip to New Zealand. They will be getting married in Queenstown before exploring the south island then heading to the north island. They are going to end the trip with special tattoos in Auckland. What a way to kick off a marriage. We are still working on ironing out all the details of this trip.

II love hosting group trips. Here is where I am heading in the coming year(s). Which one do you want to join me on?
April 2023 - (Sold Out) Tulip Time River Cruise. I have only a few rooms available on the AmaMora. We will spend 7 days exploring the Netherlands and Belgium enjoying the blossoms, chocolate, and beer.
May 2024 - Coming Soon - Egypt and Jordan
