What to Do in St Lucia
St. Lucia has so much to offer. From volcanos, mud baths, hiking, waterfalls, fishing, and beautiful beaches it is sure to have something for everyone. It has quickly become my topped booked destination of 2021.
Hiking Gros Piton and Petit Piton
St. Lucia's iconic twin peaks dominate the island's scenery.
These twin volcanic peaks, rise triumphantly out of the Caribbean Sea and have been designated a UNESCO world heritage site. Hiking the Pitons is a must do when you visit St. Lucia.
Cooking Class
I will always choose a cooking class when I am in a new destination. In St. Lucia you will get to experience creole and Caribbean cuisine.
Most cooking classes have a stop at a local market or garden to gather some of the supplies needed. You get an opportunity to visit and learn about an area you might not see other wise.
The best part is you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor and enjoy the meal you prepared. It is memories like these that you can bring home with you to share with others.
Zipline
Hike and Soar through the rainforest of St. Lucia. Get amazing panoramic views of the Rainforest and North of the island.
Deep Sea Fishing
St. Lucia waters are abundant with a variety of big game fish, such as blue marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, and dorado, to name but a few; an ideal recipe for a deep sea fishing experience in St. Lucia.
As St. Lucia is a volcanic island, the underwater drop-off area, where the fish congregate, lies only two miles off the coastline; therefore, this facilitates faster and easier access to the best fishing grounds. Experience of a lifetime.
St. Lucia is not slacking on the fun. Go on a catamaran snorkeling adventure, visit the “Bat Cave” in Soufriere, visit the “Love Tunnel”. Or visit various beautiful snorkeling sights, volcanos, mud baths, and waterfalls.
You might even get an opportunity to spot whales and dolphins as they play in the Caribbean Sea!
