Did you know that approximately 40% of all marriage proposals happen during Engagement Season? Engagement Season is from Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day. We are getting ready to hit the final stretch to finish off the busy season.Most of my honeymoons are all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean/Mexico, island hopping in Hawaii or the French Polynesian, and European adventures. I've had more New Zealand and Costa Rica requests this year too.
I love planning honeymoons of all shapes and sizes. I always like to get to know the couple before recommending a location or resort to ensure we have the right fit to match the budget. Not ever resort or location is a perfect fit to meet your needs.
All-inclusive resorts are scattered around the Caribbean. Cancun, Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic are great destination for short flight times, resorts of all types, and can fit a range of budgets. Many of my clients want a little more excitement and uniqueness with their all-inclusive resort and choose destinations like St Lucia, Barbados, Antigua, and Curaçao.
My European honeymoon clients are loving Italy, Greece, Ireland, and Switzerland. Europe is a great destination when you have more than a week to dedicate to your honeymoon. There are so many places and sites to see in Europe. The possibilities are endless.

I also post about about my travels. In just a few weeks I am heading to Croatia and Switzerland. I will be on a guided tour in Croatia and then flying solo in Switzerland. Both of these areas will be new to me and I can't wait to experience them.
Here are some of the trip requests I worked on this past month:
St Lucia
St Lucian Honeymoon - A referred client reached out about planning their upcoming honeymoon. They knew they wanted a Caribbean all-inclusive resort but were open to a few options. We looked at St Lucia, Barbados, Aruba, and Curaçao. They landed on Sandals La Toc St Lucia in a Sunset Bluff Oceanview One Bedroom Butler Suite w/ Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub. This is a favorite resort of mine. They will be spoiled at this resort.
Austria, Germany, and Switzerland - A referred client needed assistance planning their big trip to Europe. They will be starting in Vienna exploring the city and the Wachau Valley before heading to Salzburg to visit the Eagles Nest. They will then be visiting Munich with a day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle. Then they head to Switzerland for the extreme adventure part of their trip. They will be paragliding in Interlaken and experiencing a Via Ferrata Route in Murren. If you don't know what a Via Ferrata Route is, google it. These clients might be the coolest people I have met.
Alaska Cruises - Alaska Cruise requests have been coming in fast. Most of my requests are for 2026. You may think it is too early to think about summer of 2026, but it is right on schedule. Booking early gives you better pricing, more added amenities, and your pick of the rooms. For Alaska you want to be sure your balcony is on the correct side of the ship. I booked a number of Holland American land and sea tours this past month.
Spring Break/Summer Cruises- I have booked a number of family cruises for Spring Break and Summer. My clients are headed out on Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Celebrity, and Norwegian. I have first time cruisers and seasoned cruisers sailing in the upcoming weeks. Some of my favorite itineraries include the BVI's, Turks, St Lucia, and even Key West.
