Happenings
We are closer than ever with travel normalcy. Most destinations are opening up with limited restrictions making it very easy to get out and explore.
If you have been waiting to plan that summer or fall trip, or even travel in 2023, you are behind. Many popular destinations are booked up already. The closer we are to travel, the more limited the options.
Here are a few things to consider when deciding when to start planning your next trip:
Many of the top destinations book a year or two in advance even before the pandemic. It is now even harder to book these destinations. If you have a bucket list trip for 2023, start planning now.
Travel has taken off this year. If you are waiting for a "deal" to come along, you might be waiting too long and miss out. Prices of tours, cruises, and resorts are only going up. The longer you wait to secure your spot the more likely the price is going to go up or there won't be enough spots for you and your family.
Most cruises or tours will only have a small deposit to secure your spot with most final payments not due until 30-120 days before travel. It is worth it to start planning now to ensure you have a spot this year (or next year).
If you are ready to get back out there and travel, now is the time to start booking. Send me an email and I would be happy to get started.

V&V Travel Info
This is a big month for my company. The very first group trip I have planned is traveling in two weeks. I started planning this trip back in the summer of 2019. Covid foiled the plans three times!! It will not stop my group this time.
We are off to the Galapagos for seven days of adventure. We will be cruising on the Yolita, a small ship with only 16 guests and 2 naturalist guides. We will be visiting 6 different islands on the south and east parts of the Galapagos.
We will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, travel to the dramatic Kicker Rock to witness the steep vertical stone walls rising from the ocean, stop at Cerro Brujo on San Cristóbal to observe sea lions, marine iguanas, and seabirds along the beach. We will snorkel at Isla Lobos, Gardner Bay and Corona del Diablo. And let's not forget sea lions and trying to spot the famous blue footed boobies!
Trip Requests
Here are some of the 2022 and 2023 trip requests I worked on this past month:
Ireland - I had not one, not two, but three different Ireland trips this month. I am not sure if St Patty's day caused the excitement or if it was just a coincidence. I have an extended family that hired a private driver to take them around Ireland. I have a honeymoon couple that will be taking an epic adventure all over the island with a quick stop over in London. And I have a mother daughter duo that have had Ireland on their list for years and are finally getting their fairytale dream of staying in a castle!
Delayed Honeymoon at Couples Swept Away - A new client was referred to me regarding their delayed honeymoon (now it is their 10th anniversary). They knew they wanted something tropical and relaxing. After going over a few different options they settled on Couples Swept Away. This resort is on the beautiful Seven Mile Beach. They will love the Caribbean style and relaxed atmosphere of this resort.
Tulip Time River Cruise - I have started booking into my April 2023 AmaWaterways Tulip Time river cruise. This cruise will travel round trip from Amsterdam through the Netherlands and Belgium. I only have a few rooms remaining as space is so limited for this extremally popular river cruise. If this has been on your bucket list, now is the time to put your deposit down and secure your spot.
My Groups
I love hosting group trips. Here is where I am heading in the coming year(s). Which one do you want to join me on?
August 2022 - TWO ROOMS LEFT Cruise and Land tour in Alaska. We will be sailing on Holland America and spending three days in Denali National Park. I have rooms available if you want to join us.
October 2022 - Iceland and hunting for the Northern Lights. October gives us the best opportunity to see the northern lights. I have 8 rooms being held for 60 days. These are first come, first serve and will sell out.
December 2022 - Antarctica. This is my last continent. We will be taking an expedition cruise from South America and through the Drake Passage to the Antarctica peninsula with Ponant Cruise Line. Trip of a lifetime.
April 2023 - Tulip Time River Cruise. I have only a few rooms available on the AmaMora. We will spend 7 days exploring the Netherlands and Belgium enjoying the blossoms, chocolate, and beer.
If you are interested in joining me on one or all of these trips, please reply to this email.
