Happenings
My travel season kicks off this week (see V&V Travel Info below) and with that comes planning a few ore 2023 trips and 2024 trips. Advance planning is a must right now. People are no longer waiting to book coveted tours and cruises and now have low inventory or starting to sell out for 2023.
This has me thinking about what adventures I want to go on next and take you with me (either physically or through my Facebook posts and blogs). I have a continuous list of destinations I want to travel to. Here are a few destinations I am thinking about for 2023 and 2024:
Costa Rica- This is at the top of my list and a reschedule from 2020. From Rainforest hikes to volcanos to coffee to rafting, I want a full adventure tour.
Caribbean All-inclusive BFF Trip (girls only)- Grab you best girl friend and join me and my BFF for fun in the sun. I would love to do this kind of trip every year.
Egypt and Jordan- This trip is already in the works for 2024. This will be a big trip that everyone will need to book early and start saving for.

V&V Travel Info
I have a ton of personal trips coming up over the next few months. This week I am headed to Alaska on a Holland America Cruise tour. I am bringing along a few of my family members as well. We will be cruising from Vancouver to Anchorage looking for wildlife, riding the White Pass train, panning for gold. We then step off the ship and take the train to Denali National park for a few nights for a Safari and ATV adventures.
I am home for a few weeks then I have an extremely busy October. I head to the French Polynesian islands for a few nights in Tahiti (overwater bungalow is booked) and then an epic Windstar cruise to visit the most popular islands.
Then I am home for just enough days to take out my summer clothes and replace with winter clothes for my group trip to Iceland.
I cannot wait to share every moment of these trips with you all. If you aren't following the Visas and Vistas Travel facebook page and Blog, you will want to do that now.
Trip Requests
Here are some of the 2022 and 2023 trip requests I worked on this past month:
Dominican Republic Honeymoons - A few different referrals contacted me about their upcoming honeymoons. After getting to know each couple and their honeymoon expectations, I presented each with a few options to consider that met their needs and budget. Each of them quickly fell in love with Excellence El Carman for their beach and luxury resort feel. All of them selected the club level beachfront rooms with either a swim-up pool or second story with a plunge pool. These rooms are the top tier at this resort and always my go to recommendation. They are going to all love this resort and room!
Hawaii Honeymoon - I love planning honeymoons to Hawaii. It is a once in a lifetime destination with so much to offer. They will be heading to Oahu first for the local culture, pineapple picking, and Waikiki Beach. They will then island hop to Maui for some fun in the sun, adventure, and a luau. I always recommend visiting two islands if time permits as each island is so different from the next.
Girls Cruise - A referral contacted me about planning a girls trip for her and her friends. We discussed all inclusive resorts and cruise options. Their group decided on a Royal Caribbean cruise on the Independence of the Seas. They are going to love getting away and spending time together reconnecting.
My Groups
I love hosting group trips. Here is where I am heading in the coming year(s). Which one do you want to join me on?
October 2022 - SOLD OUT Iceland and hunting for the Northern Lights. October gives us the best opportunity to see the northern lights.
December 2022 - Antarctica. This is my last continent. We will be taking an expedition cruise from South America and through the Drake Passage to the Antarctica peninsula with Ponant Cruise Line. Trip of a lifetime.
April 2023 - Tulip Time River Cruise. I have only a few rooms available on the AmaMora. We will spend 7 days exploring the Netherlands and Belgium enjoying the blossoms, chocolate, and beer.
May 2024 - Coming Soon - Egypt and Jordan
