Happenings
By now most of you with children are in back to school mode. Everyone is getting back on a schedule, shuttling little ones to and from activities, and going to bed before it is dark outside. After only a week or two back, I know many of you are ready for a break. Hang in there and let's start planning the spring break or summer vacation so you have something to look forward to.
The demand for travel next year is already reaching new levels for my business. Normally this is the slower part of the year for me, but I am staying busy booking vacations for clients through 2022.
The majority of my clients are traveling to the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, and Disney. These destinations are booking up quickly due to the increased demand. These areas also seem to have the easiest entry and exit requirements currently.
Here are a few things to note when planning to visit these areas:
The Caribbean/Mexico is at high season January to April. Resorts are already starting to sell out. If you are interested in traveling for Valentine's Day or spring break you will want to get this booked today.
I think we all know that Disney is the busiest when kids are out of school. So holidays, spring breaks, and summer will be busy and have limited resort options. The sooner you plan your Disney trip the better off you are. For a refundable $200 deposit, I can get your room booked and we can start the planning. Disney can be a planning beast!
It may still feel like summer right now but it is time to start thinking about summer vacation 2022.
My Alaska group cruise and land tour is booking up faster than expected. I have a limited number of rooms left in my group. With no Alaska season in 2020 and a shorten season this year, rooms are selling quickly for 2022. If you are joining me, we want to get you a room booked on the side of the ship with the best view. Don't wait!

I am on the move again this month. This time I am heading to Los Cabos with a stop in La Paz. This will be my first visit to the area and I can't wait to take full advantage of exploring the area as well as visit a few popular resorts.

Trip Requests
Here are some of the 2021 and 2022 trip requests I worked on this past month:
Egypt 2022 - While I love referred clients, it is always great when someone stumbles upon Visas and Vistas Travel from Google. This new client contacted me about an Egypt tour. We spent time emailing one another about how her and her partner like to travel. They knew exactly what they wanted to see and do. I just had to find it. I was able to present them three options for them to consider. They selected the Best of Egypt tour with G Adventures that will hit every single one of their must sees and it was under their budget. I can't wait to hear all about this adventure when they return.
Disney Marathon Weekend Nov 2021 - A current client reached out to me about the Food and Wine half marathon she signed up for (her husband is doing the 5k). She has been training but had a problem. Resorts on Disney property are sold out for the weekend! I offered to see what I can find. I began my search and was able to find a few rooms off property but has many of the Disney amenities. Just as I was about to send her the options, a room at Disney Beach Club appeared. I quickly snagged it and held it under her name. I didn't tell her I was holding it, but sent that option and the off property options over to her. The next day she decided she wanted the Beach Club. I am so glad I held the room because it truly was the last room available. We have everything set and I am booking her dining reservations this weekend. Her husband has never been to Disney before and I can't wait to hear about their experience.
St Lucia Honeymoon destination change -These clients were suppose to be on a Hawaiian honeymoon in 30 days, but due to announcements made by the Hawaiian Government, they decided to move destinations. Due to some quick communication on both of our parts, I was able to get their entire honeymoon rebooked to St. Lucia without incurring any fees. St. Lucia will give them the Hawaii feel without the long flight! They will be staying at Sandals Grande St. Lucian and are sure to have an amazing time with everything the resort offers. Hawaii will be a great anniversary destination in the future!
My Groups
I love hosting group trips. Here is where I am heading in the coming year(s). Which one do you want to join me on?
July 2021 (Rescheduling)- Galápagos Islands. We begin in Quito, Ecuador then spend 5 days island hopping on land and by ship. The ship only holds 16 guests.
February 2022- Antarctica. (NEW DATE) This is my last continent. We will be taking an expedition cruise from South America and through the Drake Passage to the Antarctica peninsula with Ponant Cruise Line. Trip of a lifetime. Can't find anyone to travel with you? This cruise has no single supplement, for a limited time.
August 2022 - Cruise and Land tour in Alaska. We will be sailing on Holland America and spending three days in Denali National Park.
October 2022 - COMING SOON- Iceland and hunting for the Northern Lights
