Happenings

A new year means a reintroduction. Over the past year I have added a number of new clients that may not know me other than I am a travel agent. Since I like to get to know you when planning your trip, I thought you might want to know a little more about me.

My name is Anne and in 2016 I left my auditing career behind to travel the world. I traveled to 30+ countries over the course of a year visiting the sights, eating the food, getting to know the local customs, and making unforgettable memories. Since this trip, I have added my seventh continent, eight new countries, and a bunch of repeat countries.

When I returned from that trip I quickly realized the corporate world was not for me anymore. I was different. I took a leap of faith, became a travel agent, and started Visas and Vistas Travel.

I love helping couples, families, and friends plan epic vacations without the stress of weeding through all the info out on the internet. All this info can be overwhelming and not always accurate. I am here to help.

I specialize in:

  • All Inclusive Resorts- my most booked vacations right now!

  • International Travel- Lots of Europe and Africa trips!

  • Hawaii and Alaska Travel

  • Ocean and River Cruises

  • Luxury Destination Travel

It has been so exciting over the last few years to plan multiple trips for my clients or be referred to family and friends. Thank you for letting me be a part of your trips! Here's to a new year full of adventures.

V&V Travel Info

Have you heard the term "Wave Season?" In the Travel Agency world it is the busiest time of the year. Cruise lines typically push out their best promotions from January through March dubbing it Wave Season. But Wave Season has come a long way to now include all inclusive resorts, guided tours, independent tours, and hotels.

Many of the suppliers have started opening up their Wave Season promotions. Some of my favorite guided tour companies are offering HUGE discounts.

Contact me today to take advantage of these offers for your next trip.

Trip Requests

Here are some of the 2024, and 2025 trip requests I worked on this past month:

Sandals Royal Curacao - Honeymoon season is in full swing already. A new client reached out and knew they wanted something a little more luxurious and different than what all their friends were experiencing. We discussed Bora Bora, Maldives, and Curacao. They settled on Sandals Royal Curacao in the new Asombroso Rondoval Butler Villa with a private pool. Their room comes with a Mini Cooper convertible to explore the island for the day.  I think they are going to love this experience and resort!

Sandals Royal Bahamian - Another honeymoon couple is headed to a Sandals resort to be spoiled. They will be staying at the newly renovated resort in the Bahamas in an oceanview club room. Club access is always recommended for the added benefits and amenities. I hope this couple enjoys their time away.

All Inclusive Family Trip - A referred client reached out about their summer family vacation. They knew they wanted a short flight, all inclusive, and activities for their children. I recommend a few possible options in Cancun (nonstop flights) and they choose one of my favorites, The Grand at Moon Palace. The whole  family will love the activities, water facilities, and lots of food choices. They will have the best time in Mexico.

Scotland Adventure - Due to a tour cancellation, my client decided to book a different itinerary. They are headed to Scotland one a fully guided tour. They will journey along the Scottish Highlands from Pitlochry to Portree and discover charming villages, glistening lochs and famed distilleries. They also plan to add on a few pre tour days in London to visit some of the sites from a favorite book series. They are going to have an exciting adventure.

Iguazu and Brazil Tour - Due to a tour cancellation, a few of my clients (and me) decided to book a different itinerary. A few of us are headed to Argentina and Brazil. We will be eating steak in Argentina, seeing Iguazu Falls from both Argentina and Brazil sides, enjoying the coast and beaches of Brazil, and ending at Christ the Redeemer in Rio. I am excited for this adventure.
