Happenings
If you have been waiting to plan that summer trip, or any travel in 2024, you are behind. Many popular destinations are filling up already. The closer we are to travel, the more limited the options.
Here are a few things to consider when deciding when to start planning your next trip:
Many of the top destinations book a year in advance. Alaska, Antarctica, and Europe cruises or guided tours are already being booked for 2025. If you have a bucket list trip for 2024 or 2025, start planning now.
The 2022 and 2023 travel boom is still being carried over to this year and into next year. If you are waiting for a "deal" to come along, you might be waiting too long and miss out. The longer you wait to secure your spot the more likely the price is going to go up or there won't be enough spots for you and your family.
Most cruises or tours will only have a small deposit to secure your spot with most final payments not due until 30-120 days before travel. It is worth it to start planning now to ensure you have a spot this year or next year.

I also post about about my travels. This week I am heading to St Lucia. I will be staying at Sandals Grande St Lucia and Sandals Regency La Toc. Both are my most booked Sandals resorts and I can't wait to experience them for myself.
While in St Lucia I will be taking the ferry to my resort, experiencing a land and sea excursion to learn about the island, and meeting with the St Lucia Tourism board, and inspecting a few other resorts on the island.

Trip Requests
Here are some of the 2024, and 2025 trip requests I worked on this past month:
Sandals Anniversary Trips - My clients are celebrating some huge milestone anniversaries this year. It doesn't matter if your are celebrating 1 year, 5 years, or 50 years, Sandals is offering a free night when you stay 7 nights in a Club room or higher during your anniversary month. This pas month I have booked anniversary clients to Grande St Lucian, Montego Bay, Antigua, and South Coast. All these clients received a free night just for traveling during their anniversary month. This can be a great savings.
Family Costa Rica Adventure - One of my good friends (and now client) love to give their children travel experiences. Now that the children are older they can start being a little more adventurous. They are heading to Costa Rica and will be hiking in Manuel Antonio National Park, visiting the Cloud Forest in Monteverde, taking a coffee and chocolate tour, visiting the hot springs, hiking a volcano and river rafting in Arenal.
Alaska Land and Sea Tour - Alaska land and cruise tour are at the top of my clients lists. Most of these tours will include Fairbanks, AK, Denali, Anchorage, and cruising to Glacier Bay, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway. Alaska is a once in a lifetime trip. For those clients that are short on time, there are seven days cruise only options that can also satisfy the Alaska travel bug.
Italy Adventure- Italy is still my most booked European destination right now. A referred client contacted me and we sat down for a consultation. We discussed everything they wanted out of the trip and I discussed how we could make it happen. They will be traveling this summer to Venice, Florence, Sorrento, and Rome. This two week trip will be full of adventure, history, wine, and pasta!
Riviera Maya Honeymoon - All Inclusive honeymoons come in all types of destinations and budgets. I try my hardest to find the perfect destination that will meet your wants and budget. My clients knew they wanted a tropical resort with plenty of food/drink options and a great beach. They choose my favorite resort in Mexico: Valentin Imperial. They are going to love their beachfront suite and romantic vibe to celebrate their first few days as husband and wife.

April 2024 - Iguassu and Brazil- SOLD OUT- Travel from the tango palaces of Buenos Aires to the samba pulse of Rio de Janeiro and discover spectacular wilderness in between.
October 2024 - Mediterranean Cruise SOLD OUT- 10 day cruise on Norwegians newest ship the Viva. Visit Greece, Turkey, Italy, and France. Start the cruise in Athens, Greece and end in Rome, Italy. This is an outstanding itinerary.
