Happenings
If you have been waiting to plan that fall trip or travel in 2025, you are behind schedule. Many popular destinations are booked up already. The closer we are to travel, the more limited the options.
Here are a few things to consider when deciding when to start planning your next trip:
Many of the top destinations book a year or two in advance. It is now even harder to book these destinations. If you have a bucket list trip for 2025, start planning now.
The demand for travel is still higher than I have ever seen. If you are waiting for a "deal" to come along on a cruise or a tour, you might be waiting too long and miss out. The longer you wait to secure your spot the more likely the price is going to go up or there won't be enough spots for you and your family.
Most cruises or tours will only have a small deposit to secure your spot with most final payments not due until 30-120 days before travel. It is worth it to start planning now to ensure you have a spot this year or next year.

Tim has added three posts about our time spent road tripping in New Zealand.
I added a few blogs about my time spent in the French Polynesian Islands. The South Pacific is my favorite ocean (yes, I have a favorite ocean). I talk about Exploring the Enchanting French Polynesian Islands, Sailing on the Windstar Breeze, and Over Water Bungalows. I would love to visit this area again spending more time on the islands of Taha'a and Bora Bora.
My experience on a Land and Sea tour in St Lucia is also highlighted on the blog.
Trip Requests
Here are some of the 2024, and 2025 trip requests I worked on this past month:
Friends All Inclusive Trip to Cancun - A client reached out to me about planning an all inclusive resort trip for them and some of their friends. After recommending a few resorts, they selected El Dorado Seaside Suites and shared the details with their friends. Within a week 20+ friends had joined in on the trip. Everyone will be staying in a swim up room and they are sure to have a great tip together.
British Isles Cruise- My clients are avid cruisers. They often cruise 2-3 times a year in the Caribbean but they have never traveled overseas. Next year they are going big for a milestone birthday. They will be cruising the British Isles visiting Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands, Belgium and France. This trip might entice them to cruise overseas more often.
New Zealand Elopement and Honeymoon- My clients are getting married at Hobbiton in New Zealand. Does it get much cooler than that? After they say their vows they will be off on a road trip of the North Island of New Zealand. They will visit Cathedral Cove, the glow worm caves, Hamilton Gardens, Geothermal Park, experience local cultures, and end their trip in Wellington. This will be a big family adventure as they are also bringing along their newest addition. Not many people get a passport stamps at the age of 1.
Alaska Cruises - Alaska Cruise requests are still coming in fast. Most of my requests are for 2025 but I have had a few last minute requests for 2024. I booked a number of Holland American cruise and land and cruise tours this past month. Holland America is my most booked Alaska cruise line and a cruise you don't want to wait to plan.

October 2024 - Mediterranean Cruise SOLD OUT- 10 day cruise on Norwegians newest ship the Viva. Visit Greece, Turkey, Italy, and France. Start the cruise in Athens, Greece and end in Rome, Italy. This is an outstanding itinerary.
June/July 2025 - Scotland and Ireland- Limited rooms remain for Scotland. Join me on an adventure to Ireland and Scotland and learn about the classic folklore and see the stunning landscapes that makes these two countries unforgettable. Reserve your spot here.
