December 2025 Newsletter
A new year means a reintroduction. Over the past year I have added a number of new clients that may not know me other than I am a travel agent. If you already know me, feel free to skip to the next section of the newsletter.
My name is Anne and in 2016 I left my auditing career behind to travel the world. I traveled to 30+ countries over the course of a year visiting the sights, eating the food, getting to know the local customs, and making unforgettable memories.
When I returned from the world trip I quickly realized the corporate world was not for me anymore. I took a leap of faith, became a travel agent, and started Visas and Vistas Travel. Now I have added my seventh continent, been to 56 countries, and revisited a bunch of countries along the way.
A few fun facts about me that you might not know:
- I am a huge Michigan Wolverine fan.
- I was homeschooled from 7th grade to graduation. I don't have a high school diploma or GED but I have a Bachelors and Masters Degree.
- I have my CIA and CPA licenses and still keep them active all these years later.
- I count my sneezes. I blame my mom for this weird trait.
It has been so exciting to get to know each one of you and plan your trips over the years. I appreciate all your referrals from family and friends. Thank you for letting me be a part of your trips! Here's to a new year full of adventures.
Have you heard the term "Wave Season?"
In the Travel Agency world it is the busiest time of the year. Cruise lines typically push out their best promotions from January through March dubbing it Wave Season. But Wave Season has come a long way to now include all inclusive resorts, guided tours, independent tours, and hotels.
Many of my preferred suppliers have started opening up their Wave Season promotions. Some of my favorite guided tour companies are offering HUGE discounts.
If you see my looking a little frazzled these next three months, know that Wave Season is to blame.
Destination Highlight: Cancun – A Winter Escape with Endless Possibilities
