La Paz Baja Club

La Paz Baja Club

As soon as we landed in Cabo we were picked up by our driver and whisked off to La Paz. It was about a two hour drive from the airport. La Paz is not the major touristy area that comes with Cabo San Lucas. The city is full of boutique hotels (a few resorts), restaurants, and bars.

I stayed at the Baja Club right on the water. While the front of the hotel is has been redone, the four-story extension, containing 32 guest rooms, a spa and a rooftop sunset bar with a wonderful view on the bay was just added on. In the heart of this peaceful hotel is the patio, outdoors dining pergola, and pool.

I stayed in a Double Bed Balcony Room. Most of the rooms at the Baja Club have king bed rooms. It is important to note that you can see into the shower area from the bedroom.

I enjoyed breakfast each morning in the outdoor patio area. The room room included a continental breakfast of juice, coffee, fruit, granola, yogurt, and breads. It was the perfect way to start a busy day of exploring. They also have an expanded menu to order from at an additional cost. They also have a plunge pool, rooftop bar, main level bar, and patio on site.

Overall, this was a beautiful boutique hotel with all the amenities needed for an excellent stay. The location was perfect for walking to the boardwalk and around town. The staff was amazingly helpful and kind. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
