Happenings
Let's talk about Alaska Cruises! I have just set up my Alaska Cruise/tour group for August 2020. If you want to join me and my group of travelers on a 7 night cruise and 3 day Denali tour, contact me to reserve your space. I have limited rooms available.
Here are some fun tidbits about Alaska cruises:
Did you know know that approx. 70% of first time cruisers choose Alaska as there first cruise.
The Alaskan cruise season is shorter than other destinations (typically April through September) and demand is high.
Not only can the entire family revel in iconic Alaska (sweeping glaciers and snow-capped mountains as well as unforgettable animal encounters), but on the days at sea, kids will enjoy the kids club which generally features gaming tournaments, themed parties, karaoke and more
.Balcony staterooms are a must. Seeing magnificent glacier views, not to mention sea lions and otters, from the privacy of your own cabin is paramount on an Alaskan cruise.
There is an array of family-friendly shore excursions. Check out my blog post here for more details on what to do at the different cruise ports in Alaska.
If you are thinking about an Alaska cruise this year or next year, contact me today. Rooms go quickly due to the shorter cruise season.

Travel News and Info
With flu season in full effect, I wanted to talk about how to stay healthy when your traveling.
Wash your hands often, with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Carry alcohol-based hand sanitizer
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
When flying, keep the air vents above your seat open to improve ventilation.
Wipe down the arm rests and tray table with sanitary wipes and bring tissues to open the bathroom door.
Bring a face mask. Sure, you might feel silly but you will keep the germs out.
Pick a window seat and don't budge.
Do your fellow travelers a favor and don't fly or cruise when you're really sick. This is so important!
Trip Requests
These past few weeks have been full of exciting trip planning. Here are just a few of the requests I received:
Disney Cruises- Yep, that's right, Cruises with an "S." I have booked countless Disney cruises this month. From spring breaks to Summer cruises to Halloween trips! Everyone is sure to have a magical time!
Scotland Tour - My clients are headed to Scotland in just a few weeks. They will be joining a group tour with Brendan Vacations. Brendan Vacations specializes in Scotland and Ireland! They will travel from Scotland's literary capital, Edinburgh and Glasgow to the battlefields of Culloden and Glencoe, and past the lochs and glens of the Scottish Highlands. They are sure to have an amazing time!
Ireland Tour- My clients are heading to Ireland with Insight Vacations! Insight Vacations always includes unique experiences, authentic dining, plus travel in style with big windows and less seats in the bus for more room. They will have a great time experience the wild, enchanting coastal routes as they explore the Emerald Isle. Along the way they will encounter ruined castles, quiet lakes, natural wonders and legendary characters.
Eastern Caribbean Cruise - My clients, a father and daughter, are heading out on the Carnival Magic this summer. These two are going on their first cruise and are sure to have the best time exploring the ship and eating all the Guys Burgers and Fries they can manage.
