Hotel Xcaret was hands down my favorite property of the week. This resort is an adventure seeking families dream. Your food, drinks, and excursions (parks and tours) are included. When you have a family of 4 traveling, excursions can cost you anywhere from $50-$200 per person. That adds up really quick. Let’s find out if this resort is right for you and your family.

The 900 suites, which are meticulously designed and distributed into five buildings, incorporate universal elements based in Maya culture: Viento (wind), Agua (water), Tierra (earth), Fuego (fire), and Espiral (spiral). And these accommodations are suited for all kinds of guests, including families with young kids or teens, adults only, or groups. The architectural vision of each suite connects guests with the rivers, the sea, the pool, or the forest from all angles.

The resort has a man made beach but also has a number of pools plus crystal clear river.

CASA FUEGO - ADULTS ONLY AREA

If you want to enjoy all the fun of Hotel Xcaret but need your own adults only area, Casa Fuego is probably for you (and me). This adults only area has an exclusive front desk and lounge area as well as exclusive access to the roof top with a private pool and with the most impressive view of the Riviera Maya. There is also a separate gym as well as exclusive Casa Fuego restaurant.

MULUK SPA & WELLNESS

Inspired by ancestral traditions, this unique spa is carved out of the rocks and surrounded by rivers and jungle. Its design is in harmony with the environment. Among the extraordinary amenities offered at Muluk Spa & Wellness are a hydrotherapy circuit, salt flotation tank, and treatments in 15 natural caves. Your treatment room could only be reached by boat and is in open concept in the secluded jungle or it may have its own cenote. This spa is sure to be a unique experience.
