Alaska Excursions by Cruise Port

If you are short on time, a great way to get a feel for Alaska is on a cruise. Alaska cruises will get you to quaint seaside towns like Ketchikan and Skagway, and have stunning harbor vistas like Juneau's. If you have a few extra days make sure you add on a land tour of Denali National Park.

There are three larger ports that most cruise ships dock at; Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan. There are also a few lesser visited ports that you can find on some cruise itineraries; Sitka, Haines, and Icy Strait Point. Here are some great shore excursions to consider when cruising.
