Happenings
One of the best things about running my own business from home is the flexibility. This month I was able to take off and fly to Nashville for a few days and a surprise trip to Ohio for my father's birthday. I was never able to do that with my corporate job. I now can take my office with me wherever I go.
While in Ohio, I schedule a few client visits. Coffees, lunches, and drinks kept me busy. It is so nice to sit down one on one and get to know each other to match the client with the perfect trip.
During one of those lunches I received one of the best compliments. The client stated that she contacted another agency prior to getting a quote from me. For the exact same trip, we priced significantly lower. They saved money and I get to do what I love.
Travel News and Info
Holland America Cruises is coming back to Tampa next year! Is anyone else noticing a trend with all these cruise lines coming back to Tampa? The Veendam, a premium, mid-sized ship with just 1,350 guests on board, will return to Tampa after Holland America was absent from the market for two years. The Veendam will be sailing to the Western and Southern Caribbean on 5 to 12 day itineraries. Holland America prides itself for its focus on local traditions, culinary tastes and cultural experiences.

Trip Requests
These past few weeks have been full of exciting trip planning. Here are just a few of the requests I received:
New Years Eve Getaways- I have had multiple families and couples request NYE caribbean getaways. From cruising to Jamaica to Punta Cana.
Las Vegas Friends Trip- This couple is heading to Las Vegas with some of their college friends in early 2020. Blackjack, Buffets, and the Bellagio!
Family Group Cruise- I met this client at a bridal fair and she requested a family group cruise. She picked out a cruise from Tampa to Cozumel and I blocked off enough rooms to hold her family and friends. Each family member contacts me to make their deposit and assign a room. What a great way to celebrate your family!
Multi-generational Hawaii Trip- Grandma and Grandpa are celebrating their 50th anniversary and taking their kids and grandkids on a special family vacation. They head to Maui in June 2020! Snorkeling, luau, poke, and maybe spot Moana!!
My Groups
April 2020- Cruising on the brand new Norwegian Encore from NYC to Bermuda. There is still space available! I am excited to check off a new country.
July 2020- Cruising in Alaska. TBD on dates and Ship. Group space coming soon. Who has Alaska on their bucket list? I am attending a special Alaska training in a few weeks to help make an informed decision.
December 2020- Galápagos Islands. We begin in Quito, Ecuador then spend 5 days island hopping on land and by ship. The ship only holds 20 guests. Inquire today about space.
